This document presents a summarized version of the CHAMPION Curriculum, specifically targeting adult educators and trainers interested in the learning approach, learning pathways, and proposed curriculum. It provides a concise overview of the results from the desk research and survey conducted to understand the factors affecting social entrepreneurship for the target groups. The summary, which collects the main contents of the complete curriculum, is available in English.
CHAMPION Curriculum & Syllabus
The present document defines the CHAMPION Curriculum & Syllabus, and details the action-based learning method and the approach and lays the foundations for the development of the CHAMPION Training Programme and Action Lab. As such it sets the scene describing the context of the target groups and the change that CHAMPION aims to bring about. The full report is only available in English.
CHAMPION Training Programme
The CHAMPION Training Programme consists of the learning content, support materials and skills assessment method. It provides the target groups with the knowledge, skills and competence in the field of cultural heritagebased social entrepreneurship or social innovation. It includes concepts, theory, examples, case studies, exercises and assignments related to topic. The attainment of the envisaged skills, will create a solid ground for the Action Lab, where the learner puts into practice these skills with the specific target of ideation and creation of their social enterprise or innovation initiative and create the action plan to make this a reality.
CHAMPION Action Lab
The CHAMPION Action Lab is designed to guide the learner through the processes of ideation and creation of their cultural heritage based social enterprise or innovation initiative. It provides the logical step from acquiring of knowledge, skills and competence related to cultural heritage based social entrepreneurship or innovation, the practical exercise of ideating, creating and defining a concrete action plan for making one’s own enterprise or initiative a reality, through focussed exercises and assignments, recorded in the customised action plan (and based upon the Universal Design for Learning guidelines).
The Action Lab, supports the target group in putting into practice the knowledge, skills and competences acquired. It does by guiding them through the processes for ideation, creation and setting up of their (cultural heritage based) social enterprise or innovation initiative, resulting their own customised action plan to make this a reality.
Support Programme
It allows to engage the professionals active in entrepreneurship or business development in the process, for those learners that require help
